Trustee Scholar Awards 2020-2021
The Trustee Scholarship is Ringling College of Art and Design's highest award given to one student from each major. Scholars are chosen based on their expertise and professionalism, involvement in their departments, mentorship, and contribution to the college and community as a whole. This year's theme is shift, to represent the challenges this class of individuals has had to go through and have found new ways to adapt. This concept is actualized through visuals of the fourteen selected scholars’ works in changing linear frames and the use of holographic foil, which changes depending on the angle it is viewed from. The invitation was sent to all attendees and a select few for an in-person event. To accommodate a primarily virtual event, we added a gift box to the deliverables that included the programs, thank you card, gourmet popcorn, and a photo-op piece.
